Questions, answered

Before you start.

What do I get in the free analysis?
One analysis per new account: an AI band estimate, a breakdown of the four writing criteria, selected sentence corrections and a paragraph rewrite. Sign in to receive the report. No payment card is required for this first analysis.
Is the band estimate an official IELTS score?
It is an AI practice estimate using the IELTS Writing criteria. Scores can differ from an examiner's judgement. Use the explanations to guide your practice; the estimate does not certify exam readiness or guarantee a future score.
Can I check both Task 1 and Task 2?
Yes. The workspace supports Academic Task 1, General Training letters and Task 2 essays. Choose the task and include its question. Academic questions in the library keep their visual beside the editor.
Can I start with an answer I've already written?
Yes. Open the writing workspace and paste your question and answer. You can also choose a question from the library and write directly in the editor.
What happens after my free analysis?
Further analyses require a paid plan. Weekly, monthly and annual options are available, starting at $2.99/week. An eligible first subscription includes a 3-day trial with a card required. It renews at the selected price unless cancelled before the trial ends. Check the pricing page for the full terms.
Can I use the practice questions and drills for free?
Yes. You can browse the questions, read available model answers and use the skill drills without a paid plan. A subscription is for further AI analyses of your own writing.
